Who won both Nobel Prize and Oscar?
Apart from winning an Oscar in 2001 in the category Best Original Song for “Things Have Changed” from the movie Wonder Boys, Bob Dylan became the first songwriter to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016. He has also won 10 Grammys of the 38 he has been nominated for.

The only other winner of the prestigious Nobel Prize in Literature, who won an Academy Award, was Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw for Best Adapted Screenplay for the film of his play Pygmalion in 1939. Shaw won the Nobel prize in 1925 “for his work which is marked by both idealism and humanity, its stimulating satire often being infused with a singular poetic beauty”.
